Clean rooms some going through renos ATM good food well priced.
Service is hit and miss but mostly good. Food is above average. Has a very nice front bar with reasonable specials. Dining room is usually packed with locals. I wouldn't recommend bringing children as comparable pubs in town offer more for them.
One of the most historical hotels that we have stayed in. The place was nice, clean, tidy with lots of antique furniture. Staff were lovely, restaurant was great and had a free parking at the back of hotel.
Consistently good. Been here several times over the past few months, and have had excellent meals each time. Not a huge menu, but we've enjoyed everything we've tried on it. They have specials many days of the week. Service is fast and the restaurant is cozy. Recommended.
