Zucchini slice not as advertised, contained lots of bacon. OK for some but not if allergic. Promised refund not provided, service slow. Most meals contained bread. Seating OK wouldn't go back there.
Great spiced chain latte
A bit of a disappointment this time. The chicken pot pie was thick and gluggy. The calamari special was dry, overcooked and chips dried out. The OJ was fresh squeezed and very tasty and the latte with extra shot very nice.This is the first time we have been to this establishment since it first opened that we have been dissatisfied with the food.The staff were as always friendly and the premises as always was clean fresh and well presented.We will be back as usually the food is great. Everyone has a bad day and this was theirs.
We have had many fine meals at this establishment, but todays meals were very ordinary. The chicken pot pie was over thickened and tended to be gluggy. The salt and pepper sqid special was dissapointing being over cooked, dry and tasteless. Two small strips of sqid and two small calamari rings that looked lik they had been re-cooked out of the bain marie.We will be back again to see if they get it right next time, hopefully this was a once off bad day.
A nice, professional and refined cafe, with an adequate menu for your palate to choose from. The pricing if fairly average, and the meal sizing are of average nature too, but the quality of them do make an outlier from the rest, a good outlier that is. You will often see them with customers, making the place fairly busy at times, complimenting on their food, coffee's and service, but the service like any place can be rather average at times, and rather lacklustre. However, the Collars and Cuffs cafe will surely make you feel like you're in an actual cafe, and a good one at that.
