Great tour at the blue lake
Great tour of the Blue Lake pumping station.
Warning: CASH ONLYThe tour was amazing and the guide was polite, easy going, and was just like "hanging with a mate". He gave great information about the lake and the history (without being boring!) and at the same time you go to get up close to the lake and take some good pictures.There was a couple of points where you had time to sit down and relax and/or take photos, and at the end I couldn't believe it had already been 45 minutes.One thing to note, as at the top of the review, the shop is cash only so you'll definitely need to bring cash to go on the tour and more cash if you want to buy food, drinks, souvenirs, etc. Ticket prices are $11 for adults.In summer, the walk down to the station was hot, indoor it was cool, in the tunnel even cooler, then by the water was warm but not uncomfortable. The temperature outside when we went was 35 as a reference.
Got to know a brief history about the place. And it was worth the money.
