1930 hours on 3/2/18 Tried to ring Naracoorte Police Station - got diverted to Mt Gambier Police Station. Phone rang for three minutes. NO ANSWER. Thought I'd ring Mt Gambier direct - phone rang for 3 minutes NO ANSWER and was terminated. Having been in the job for thirty years and stationed in Naracoorte for 12 years, I consider this treatment is deplorable. Thank Christ I wasn't being mugged or the matter was urgent. I feel sorry for the public when their motto is "Keeping South Australia Safe"
Why can't we as a community understand? If we help people who need and want help everybody elses life would be easier. Kindness and be kind. Some get it and some are just rude and disrespectful. And then can't work out why thieir job is so hard. Sorry the dry english humour has its place and that is not for when somebody is upset. Thank you again for your compassion and intelligence of the other kind officers and once again the officer in charge.
Call out for alarm Tuesday night at market place. Problem solved in five minutes. Well done SAPOL
