Its only okay as the older Lady who manages it is great. The property is run down and there is nothing to do here except some old play equipment. If they invested in a pool, put a fence near the playground to eliminate the death hazard of a child fallling off the retaining wall into the carpark below and repainted the property to bring it back up to todays style it would be much better.
Hosts are very friendly. Can see some improvements are being done, very dated ensuites but on the up side having your own ensuite to each site is a plus also very dog friendly with a area set aside for off leash exercise. Would stay here again as very reasonably priced and a good quiet park. Thank you for your hospitality.
The staff at the park are so accommodating and friendly. We needed to change our dates the day before our booking and this was done for us with no questions asked. Then on our arrival after driving from Victor Harbor we requested to upgrade from an ensuit camp site to a cabin as we were so tired and again this was done for us with no problem. Granted the cabin's are an older style and the decor may not be too everyone's liking but so what! The beds comfy and the showers are great, the room had all the creature comforts we needed for our two night stay. It's clean, quiet and has amazing views right from your front door. In case you never had a chance to stay in a motel in the 1970s, you still have a chance. Everything from the furniture (that my wife argued was more along the line of early 1980s) to an oven that was certainly from the 60s to a TV that was from the 21st century, you can have it all here at Limestone. We're not sure why there seemed to be electrical blankets in the beds in the middle of an Australian summer, but luckily this place did encourage one to reduce their carbon footprint by reducing their use of electricity. in closing, if you are looking to stay in Mount Gambier for the night, you may want to just keep looking around.
Older style cabins, need a bit of updating. Very roomy, great for families. Clean and comfortable. Worth a try
